Ely Buendia for Esquire
Pinoy rock icon Ely Buendia is on the cover of the March issue of Esquire magazine. He looks dashing, and as Marco quipped, “Bumagay ang eggplant color sa kanya. Bakit ganun?”
The words under his name that says “The Last Interview” sparks curiosity.
Weekly Photo Challenge: Indulge
A photo of me by Dona (maybe), taken October 25, 2011 at Bohol.
This is probably the hardest challenge so far, at least for me. Initially I wanted to post food photos, or a self-portrait munching on some food but I’ve got tons of food photos and photos of me eating I didn’t know which to post. Gaaaahhh, foodie problems indeed! I opted for non-food related indulgence instead.

90s Music for 90s Kids
Last night I was telling my friend how going to events like UP Fair makes me feel different about myself. Para bang automatic na teenager mode agad ako. And when I’ll realize there are younger people around, that’s when it comes to me that I’m already 23 yet still act like a teen. This doesn’t bother me though. Not at all. LOL Nonsense intro.
Together with good friends, I went to UP Fair on a Tuesday night- and Valentine night, too- because (1) the event (a benefit concert for the Philippine rivers) was sponsored by Alpha Phi Omega Fraternity Eta Chapter, moi kapatids and (2) they’ve got a really nice line up- a mix of bands from the 90s and today. I thought I wouldn’t let the opportunity pass so I bugged some friends to come along. I succeed tagging along 4 awesome people with me- two of which doesn’t have a date like me. Lelz.
Charice Sings Whitney
Filipina artist Charice Pempengco does a Whitney Houston tribute.
When the news of Whitney’s death broke, I was actually thinking if Charice had already peformed with Whitney since she’s one of the popular Filipino musicians who can actually sing Whitney Houston well, and she’s been onstage with huge musicians like David Foster, Celine Dion, etc.
Well, I have yet to find the answer but this video of her singing Whitney is totally amazing. She definitely killed it.
