Red Horse Kicked at Tomato Kick
“Five hundred!” I blurted shortly after being seated when I saw what the people at the other table is drinking. Red Horse 500ml. “Ngayon lang ako ulit iinom ng hindi stallion,” I told my friends.
The scorching summer heat makes you just want to stay indoors with the fan and AC on but thank goodness I managed to defy the laze for I should’ve missed yet another awesome night.
When Inah asked if I want to go out, I asked, “Saan? Sa Mall?” Kasi sobrang init di ko maisip maglakad lakad sa labas, haha. She LOLed, too, and suggested we go to Diliman. Since, I wanted to explore and go food tripping in Diliman for some time now, I said yes. I remembered I was just texting with our friend Rogelio the night before and he asked if there’s any get together happening soon. Sakto! Three’s a party!
We were supposed to do some photo sessions but we got lost multiple times and the sun set too soon.
We went looking for that restaurant/food stall “Lutong Bahay” but learned that they are open only in the morning. Sayang, we went ice candy-ing and tea-ing instead before moving on in search for the famed Mang Larry’s Isawan.
After walking and walking and asking random people for directions (most of them doesn’t really know where Mang Larry’s Isawan is), we found him!
Mang Larry’s Isawan is indeed popular! Pinipilahan talaga! You just need to have patience because they got lots of customers and you have to wait for your orders to be cooked. The wait is worth it anyway.
We were the last ones to leave the place. Well, 8 and company were still there when we left but they’re not really like customers I supposed?
All photos except Isaw and Mang Larry’s Isawan are from Inah.
Oyster Party
After the photowalk, we’d go to an Oyster Party in Bulacan, Inah said. Sige! I answered. Anong meron sa Oyster Party. Probably one of the dumbest questions ever asked. :p Malay ko ba, baka tinawag lang siyang Oyster Party pero wala naman talagang oyster involved.
Pero literal pala, may highblood oyster nga.
Christmas 2011
So the yearly tradition invasion continues. The weather’s not permitting me to go out but I thought this might be the only time I get to see my friends based in Cagayan and those who I never get to see in Manila because their either too busy and those that are based somewhere else, like out of the country.
Crazy Little Christmas Party
We had our little departmental party at Central BBQ Grill in Makati. Inuman lang + exchange gifts. Here are some snapshots.
Alpha Phi Omega at 86
The cowards never started. The weak died on the way. Only the brave and the strong arrived. They were the men and women of Alpha Phi Omega.
December 16, 2011 is Alpha Phi Omega International Service Fraternity and Sorority’s 86th year of existence and as it should be, we have to have a celebration no matter how small or grand.
Mara’s Twenty Two-oth
Mara is supposed to have a birthday climb at Mt. Pulag be she called it off at the last minute because of bad weather. As a plan B, she asked us to go out instead. My Saturday was already booked so I suggested we’ll just go clubbing and I’ll meet them in Fiamma after our company party.
Pasta All You Can Take 2
I’ve been craving for pasta since last weekend but I had to postpone the craving (LOL I don’t know you could actually do that) because as early as then, Mara scheduled an eat out at Penpen’s.
So last Saturday, I went all the way to Cubao to meet them friends for Pasta-All-You-Can. For the love of Aligue Pasta. But too bad they didn’t have aligue sauce that time. It broke my heart indeed.
Cebu’s Popular Spots
When in Cebu and you’re stuck in the city itself, why don’t you go around and visit the popular spots and have endless photo ops?
That’s actually what we did. Since it was my first time in Cebu, I asked Dona (who’ve been there before) to tour me around the most popular spots in the Queen City of the South.
